The girl behind the story

I was born in Salamanca, Spain. I spent my last year of school with a host family in Exeter, Pennsylvania. That year abroad changed me in such a way that many years later I felt the need to write about it.

After I returned from my year abroad I studied Translation and Interpreting in Madrid and then completed a Masters in Translation Studies in Dublin.

While studying my masters I fell in love with Ireland so I worked hard to make it my home… and I succeeded! Now I live in Dublin with my husband, our two boys and our mischievous dog.

I'm a huge fan of Marian Keyes—her books are pure joy. Titles like Sushi for Beginners, The Break, and The Woman Who Stole My Life are favorites I could happily read over and over again. Honestly, I love all her books!

Reading is one of my greatest passions. I often alternate between lighthearted, feel-good romance novels and dark, twisty thrillers—complete opposites, I know!

My dream would be moving to the Irish countryside, writing books, and drinking hot chocolate by the fire. Sounds nice, right? Tell that to my kids!
